Safety Guidelines
Future service guidance. RIDEZEE is preparing for its Caribbean launch. The information below describes intended standards for future services and may be updated as operations become available in each destination.
Opening
A safer journey starts with informed choices and mutual respect. These guidelines describe the standards that RIDEZEE intends to promote for riders, drivers and other participating transportation providers as services are introduced across Caribbean markets. Specific local procedures will be provided before launch.
1. Before a journey
Plan a suitable pickup point. Choose a well-lit, accessible location where a vehicle may stop lawfully. Take extra care around airports, ports, hotels and busy roads, where special pickup rules may apply. Confirm trip, driver and vehicle information using the tools made available in the relevant service at launch. If the information does not match, do not enter the vehicle.
2. During the journey
Always use an available seat belt and follow applicable child restraint requirements. Avoid distracting the driver, obstructing visibility, interfering with vehicle controls, carrying prohibited items or behaving in a way that endangers other occupants. Riders and drivers should treat one another with courtesy and respect.
3. Driver responsibilities
Participating drivers should comply with applicable traffic laws, drive attentively, avoid operating a vehicle while impaired or dangerously fatigued, and maintain clean, roadworthy vehicles. They should respect lawful passenger capacity limits and comply with any licensing, insurance and transport rules applicable to their destination. Detailed onboarding criteria will be announced before recruitment opens.
4. Personal belongings and accessibility
Keep bags and other belongings secured so they do not interfere with safe entry, exit or travel. When future booking options allow, communicate relevant accessibility needs, mobility aids, large luggage or special passenger requirements in advance. Service availability and accommodations may vary by destination.
5. Respectful conduct and reporting concerns
Harassment, threats, violence, discrimination, dangerous driving and requests for unlawful activity are inconsistent with the standards RIDEZEE intends to uphold. If a situation feels unsafe, prioritize your immediate safety and contact the appropriate local authorities where necessary. RIDEZEE will publish market-specific support and incident-reporting processes before operations begin.
6. Emergencies
For an immediate emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency services. Do not rely on this website as an emergency response channel. Emergency numbers and local procedures vary by destination. RIDEZEE does not currently offer an operational rider or driver app, and no in-app emergency function is promised by these guidelines.
7. Evolving market requirements
As RIDEZEE launches in individual destinations, we expect to publish relevant operational procedures, including pickup rules and any available safety-support channels. These guidelines are general information and do not replace local laws or emergency instructions.
